At SHPE conference in Orlando. Got ride with friend from NCSU chapter days who I hadn't seen since then. Mess up on his registration and not much we could do at 1 am with registration closed, but luckily I had made hostel reservations and the guy kept the office open for us. Lucky also in getting to attend Epcot reception though they had run out of tickets. We were able to explore the park, which didn't seem as cool as I remembered it from seeing it during the last SHPE convention in Orlando. "The world as your theme park" seemed lame after seeing the real thing for many of those places, just a facade with some shops and restaurants inside. I guess during the day they have performers to liven up the exhibits. The Christmas tree and lights were beautiful though and the music piped through the park definitely augmented the experience.

Came back for reception, saw Atlanta chapter people, talking about their drunken experiences at prior conferences. "What happens at NTCC stays at NTCC".

Off to the gala now since got a ticket from the Intel recruiter.
