Daylight Savings Time--if my mom hadn't told me, who would have known?
Yesterday not quite as interesting at conference, but OK.
Snuck away at one point to SOFA Chicago exhibition next door. Had assumed that it was going to be an avant guarde furniture exhibition, but turns out it's a sculpture and ceramics expo ranging from New Orleans memorials to Chihuly. Much too expensive for me to afford of course but still eye candy beaucoup.

Left conference a little early to go to hottix. Stopped by Borders first--drawing for Wicked $25 ticket vouchers since apparently it's sold out until March. Got hopes up when found out 20 tickets being given away, but there were over 300 people there and everyone requested 2 tickets so only 10 tickets were drawn. By that time, Hottix was closed but show only $12 anyway, went all the way up to Ravenwood neighborhood to see "Floss". Funny, though maybe a bit overdone, making fun of ethnic dance shows which I tend to like. So many great costumes on the el with Halloween parties galore. Talked with random guy dressed up as "Clockwork Orange" character who hopes to get involved with improv. Later guy from "Dr. Strangelove" who faked having trouble removing his gloved hand from the el bar.
