More turndowns from Microsoft, Six Apart and Intel which was a downer. More feelings of anger and wondering if I would ever get a job. Two days this week commuting to Chapel Hill for classes. Tuesday rain and parking rage cut trip short but Thursday stayed for afternoon interview and live evening recording of "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me". Kind of fun--a lot of laughs.
Just saw "Stolen Eye", another version of "Blue Eyes Brown Eyes" which was not quite as powerful as original but still interesting since takes places in Australia.
Read "Time Bind" for anthro class. A little depressing; ended on note of workplaces becoming increasingly unfriendly places where we have no control for change. Lackluster discussion since spread out reading over 2 1/2 weeks--so used to discussing book over 1 or 2 classes.
