Uck. Just watched a movie on kidnapping for child prostitution rings. Ick. Luckily the girl got rescued in time and everyone got arrested but it was still depressing. Coincidentally I came home to read a USA Today article that Microsoft along with homeland security and Canadian mounties helped build a system to crack down on child pornography sites. Crazy stuff--gets my blood pressure way up.
Hard to believe that in one month my time here will come to a close. Still no job or idea what I'll be doing. Last week was at CHI where I met a lot of cool people and had 5 mini-interviews. Hopefully a few at least result in something. Blah. Several papers due before then as well as a final exam. It's almost over!
