Marcela's Musing

So we have a new pope. After all the build-up about whether it should be a Latin American or African cardinal elected, it's the most conservative guy there who considers other religions deficient and abhors relativism and any signs of progressivism in the Catholic Church. So I guess me sneaking over to Episcopal services is going to condemn me in his eyes, but oh well. In a way, it makes sense that Catholicism hold fast its "brand" and not act as if it'll shift to a democracy and follow the lead of other religions. It's not a popularity contest.

Still tired. Ate dinner with Amy, Janet and Tammy so it was nice. My name wasn't on the progam so I didn't get recognized. Oh well.
