Well at least I had people to talk with today about the state of the HCI program so I know it's not just me.
Venting about the IRB to my ethnography partner turned out not to be a good idea since she now thinks I'm not serious about the class or project. Luckily the TA told us not to stress out about it over the weekend and wait for their feedback. But I could tell by the way the partner averted her eyes even after it was settled that it might just not work out.
Kind of emotional in communities class as well. Had something to say and raised my hand. Thought I had been passed over but then Amy called on me and I was nearly shaking. I don't know why it's so much harder to speak up in this class--think I'm still a little intimidated of her.
