Kind of a downer of a day. Was going to usher for the Russian dancers, but was late and my pants didn't get approved so was turned away, at first rudely by an usher but then by house manager. Glad I came back to her to clarify things more. Had stopped by for MiCS Tin Drum dinner so went back and played Taboo which ended up being fun at least. I was one of the best on my team and it felt good to get that respect.
A mess with team choosing for classes. Wanted to do something with mobile communities or moblogging, then proposed Shaadi.com since I had such an interesting time discussing it with coworker. Several people I talked to went with other groups, but luckily there was another group working on cross-cultural themes so I went with them even though I wasn't very familiar with the site (Wikipedia). Apparently 2 other groups are working with it but I had never heard of it; sometimes I feel like such a Luddite.
Ethnography class even worse as we debated different places to observe technology. It's getting tedious with all the IRB restrictions.
