Marcela's Musing

Exhausted after trying to arrange 8903 project for Barcelona but not looking like it's going to work out. Fell through with original prof, second prof now wants total rehaul of proposal with research questions, methodology, and all this documentation for something that was supposed to be due last week. Really starting to regret coming to Tech. Don't feel like I've learned anything if I can't even come up with a research proposal and haven't learned anything practical at all. Still stressing out over classes over fall and where to go there. Not to mention the one class I'm taking this semester is turning out to be such a waste. Blah.

This morning took almost an hour to get to work since waited 15 min for a bus that must have come by early, then 10 minutes or so walking to train station then fare card got stuck in turnstile, police who tried to open it broke key and couldn't get it out with a knife, then when finally able to rescue it, got off on wrong stop because so used to getting off after only one stop. Set the tone for the day I guess.

Last night went to Imovie Night, but only one I even vaguely liked. Called Sonia on way back who talked for almost an hour with; she's still getting screwed by Adler because they cut off her health insurance. Oh well. During call, bumped into Anne walking (one time I see someone I know headed my way) and got called back by Bob so bizarre.
