Still gloomy over the whole GRA thing. Not boding well for the upcoming exam. Oh well..At least I got a chance to talk to Salimah today--apparently it wasn't her decision. Frustrating.
Forgot my purse at home but didn't realize it until I got to the counter at CVS. I was going to leave behind the stuff and come back later but this older man who was in the other line called after me, "Hey--lil' bit" and insisted on paying for the purchase. Only $2, but I was still stunned that a total stranger would be so nice without even being asked.
Got blown away by Jade last night after forwarding her a posting from eslcafe.com asking for 3-d Graphics teachers in China. She took it as a personal affront since apparently she's really upset about the whole offshoring thing. She didn't recognize my email so I got the full brunt of her anger.
