Kind of a wash-out kind of day. Yesterday was pretty inspirational with the women's leadership conference and many workshops with useful information I could have used to prevent the GCATT fiasco like the importance of image and consistency. Then went to see another movie at the Latin American movie festival with group of SSO people. Afterwards they went to Loca Luna, a hybrid club/restaurant but was so tired that didn't feel like I could really enjoy myself. Plus a dark, smoky place with people I barely knew--just not a comfortable environment. Still ended up feeling a tad anti-social.

Found out Jade's getting her second masters in cs this time from Depaul in graphics and animation to get more specialization. Looking over their HCI curriculum, it's so much more career focused than ours. Taking out loans makes less sense when I'm not learning what I need to to get a job. Almost all of their classes are available with distance learning so I don't even have to go back to Chicago to take advantage of it. Don't think I could go back to Chicago...
